Glow

This tutorial will show you how to add shadow or glow to text in Adobe Photoshop CS2 version 9.0.

1. Open a new photoshop document. Make sure that the background is transparent.

2. Take the text tool and type in whatever you want it to say.

3. Go to Layer >> Layer style >> outer glow. Another box should pop up. Match your settings to mine: click.

The best way to get the glow how you want it is by playing around with the settings and getting to know them and what they do.

Shadow

1. Go to Layer >> layer style >> Drop Shadow.

2. Just play around with the settings until you get the shadow to look the way you want it to.
